They reflect the growing number of matured Malaysians who are capable of dealing with some very difficult issues.


While the piece addresses the status of the syariah court, it does not mean that Haris advocate to limit the jurisdiction of the syariah court to Muslims. This is seen in a response to one of the comments – the individual is entitled to the freedom of faith as provided for under the constitution. Unless the person is not-of-a-sound-mind.


Implications? Freedom for non-Muslims. And freedom for Muslims.
