The chap is really, really, confused.
Syed Hamid: Government won’t ask cops to drop case
The Government will not ask the police to drop its investigations into the Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim sodomy case just because a medical report said the complainant had not been sodomised, said Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar.
Of course, not.
Then he put on his apron, and started to cook up some tales:
Denying that the Government was framing Anwar on allegations of sodomy, Syed Hamid said: “It would be very irrational for the Government to create a case of this nature, at this time, against such a person.”
Hey, in case you forget you have very irrational decision makers in the corridor of power – remember the fuel price increase? Hari ini, “tak naik”, besok “naik sikit”, then boom – naik semua.
And more of his stupidity:
He said the police were taking a long time to complete investigations as they had to be “meticulous and look at every aspect.”
“You should not blame the police for being very cautious and careful because this involves such a famous personality, especially since he (Anwar) is treated differently from ordinary mortals,” he added.
And I thought only yesterday he had this to say:
“To me, if you take off the face and the name, it’s another criminal investigation.”
So, tell me, is this “just another criminal investigation” or is this investigation into someone “who is not an ordinary mortal”?
Furthermore, “police were taking a long time to complete investigations as they had to be meticulous and look at every aspect.”?
He thinks we are stupid. Just how many witnesses were there (if there was indeed a case to be made out)? What else are the police looking into? They have interviewed both the actors. They have visited the venue.
Maybe they want some sample from Dr. Wan Azizan too?
Face it man – the police are taking a long time simply because they have reached a dead end. Tak ada evidence langsung, save for the accusation.
Only some sandiwara to kill off Anwar’s reputation. Hmmm…that explains the police’s threat of showing the CCTV on the interview with Anwar…
And he always end with something that makes him the joke of the town:
Syed Hamid said it was unethical for the medical report to be leaked, as this was a breach of trust between the doctor and patient, and urged the medical fraternity to look into this.
Aiyo – did it cross his mind that a sympathiser from the PDRM may have leaked this?
And the whammo – his statement unwittingly gave credibility to the medical report. In case you did not notice, he did not refute its authencity. He simply ranted about the unethical nature of the leak.
Well done, Kojak
Crap
