SCORE Crap

First railway project for Sarawak

Sarawak will embark on its first-ever railway project to provide a cheaper form of travel for the people and meet the transportation demands of the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE).

Hooray.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud said a railway system was the most viable and cheapest form of transportation for people and goods.

Every time I see his name I cannot but see a dollar sign. I can’t really figure out why…

Taib said the Government would be spending some RM67bil to develop basic infrastructure needed for SCORE to proceed.

In case you didn’t notice, that RM76bil is spent even before SCORE proceeds.

“We have now obtained up to RM300bil in investment pledges. The majority will be from the private sectors,” he said.

Taib said the SCORE project would also see the development of the coal industry, which Sarawak has more than one billion tonnes in reserves.

Again, help please – how much is 10% of one billion tonnes of coal in monetary terms?

“The Federal Government has already allocated RM3bil to kickstart SCORE,” he said.

I don’t think he is talking about money but about kacang putih…

I mean the obscene numbers being floated:

67bil

300bil

3bil

1bil

Even I cannot imagine that number of kacang putih.

Can you?

Abdul Taib is the white ant of Sarawak. Get rid of him before Sarawak is fully devowed by him and his family.
