This is democracy?
Anwar vows to topple Malaysian govt
Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has vowed to topple the prime minister despite what he calls attempts to “demonise and intimidate” him.
I am no fan of the BN (in particular UMNO).
But just because Anwar is “demonised and intimidated”, it is therefore legitimate to topple a democratically elected government?
“We are on track to take over the government. We want to pursue this agenda for reform,” a smiling Anwar told reporters.
Reforms are solely needed, especially in the political arena. But to topple the government just so he can have his ‘reforms’? Or does he mean ‘change’ of PM rather than ‘reforms’?
This leads us to our million dollar question: Would it be, thereafter, legitimate to topple Pakatan, when there is a need to ‘reform’? How consequential or inconsequential must the need for reforms be before it can be considered legitimate to topple a government?
Or is there a set of rules for Anwar and a different set for the rest?
Oh, by the way, without DAP and PAS, no way in h*ll can Anwar topple anyone…
In case he forgets, even with froggies, he still does not have the majority without his bedfellows partners.
Over to you, Anwar…
Crap.
